Not So Random Facts uses science, history, and interesting anecdotes to take the randomness out of random facts we hear every day.  Learn how beer created civilization, how bringing the woolly mammoth back from extinction could stop global warming, and why hiccuping proves humans are part fish.

Unlike other series that review movies out in theaters now, Second Chance Cinema prefers to review movies that came out years and years ago that you may have never heard of or forgotten all about.  We like to give these overlooked film gems their opportunity for redemption and another opportunity to impress you.

Ever wanted a lightsaber, or to travel at warp speed, or maybe you're own flying car?  Well those are all dumb ideas that would kill you and everyone around you almost instantly.  Brothers Michael and David Rainey discuss the downsides of science fiction you probably never considered and explain why no matter what you think, You Don't Deserve Science Fiction.

Being disappointed by pop culture and current events is nothing new.  But if you go back in history there are so many fascinating, entertaining and at times unbelievable stories in the past, it seems crazy that we can't come up with compelling stories now.  In this podcast we explore the most exciting moments of human history, of real life drama, that put modern movies and current events to shame.

We all have trials and tribulations in our lives, events that are disappointing or problems we just can't seem to get over.  In this podcast, we use role playing games like Dungeons and Dragons to create a fantasy representation for real life.  Our student loan debt can become a band of marauders, a bad boss becomes an evil wizard, and so on.  So even if we can't slay our problems in real life, we can defeat them in a fantasy world.  It's catharsis using a twenty sided die, and exploring characters we can't explore in our regular lives.  And it's a whole lot of fun.
